Hi, I’m Mr. Mark, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping people like you succeed in sterile processing. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding more than 500 students through their CRCST certification journey, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing them thrive in their healthcare careers.
Before I became an instructor, I worked in sterile processing departments across three different hospitals. That hands-on experience taught me something crucial: success in this field requires more than just memorizing textbook material. You need to understand how theory connects to real-world practice, and that’s exactly what I focus on in my teaching.
I have had the privilege of working for 2 other schools that provide sterile processing training, being the director of the Sterile Processing program at my most recent school. They both provide a level of service to their students that has allowed me to bring the excellence I have learned in my positions to you. SwotTrain’s origin begins with an IT professional developing content for a sterile processing company. While at work he gained exposure to the world of Sterile Processing. After joining the class where he was working, passing the certification exam, working at 3 hospitals, he was asked to teach a class where he started.
Next thing you know, he found himself as the lead instructor at a technicians training school. When the Sterile Processing Program’s Operations Manager position opens up, he is asked and accepts the new position. Learning so many things while guiding the program through the Covid pandemic he watches the number of certified and employed students continue to grow under his watch. Paying homage to the Sterile Processing schools where he went and taught, as well as using his experiece from working at 3 hospitals and understanding each CS program serves a student/client base with unique needs that vary, he decides to open his own online sterile processing school.
